Heavenly Thermal Experience

The thermal pools at Los Lagos were absolutely divine! Each pool offered different temperatures to choose from, allowing me to find the perfect one to relax in. I spent hours hopping between the natural hot springs and the beautifully maintained pools. It truly felt like a little piece of paradise, especially with a refreshing cocktail from the swim-up bar! I can't wait to come back and soak in the blissful waters again.

Luxurious and Spacious

I was blown away by the quality of the accommodations! My room was not only spacious but also beautifully designed with a stunning bathroom and great shower pressure. There was something magical about waking up and stepping out onto the deck with a view of the volcano. The mini fridge was a nice touch too, as it kept my refreshments nice and cool.

Delicious Breakfast Variation

The breakfast buffet at Los Lagos was truly amazing! I enjoyed a wide selection that catered to all kinds of tastes, from traditional Costa Rican dishes to more familiar favorites. The gallo pinto and sweet plantains were highlights for me. Each morning felt like a new treat, and I looked forward to fueling up for my adventures ahead.

Kid-Friendly Fun!

Los Lagos is a fantastic place for families! The children's amenities are great, especially the water slides and kid-friendly pools. My kids had a blast racing down the slides, and there was even a nice little nature walk for them to explore. It was hard to drag them away at the end of the day! This resort definitely made our trip nice for the whole family.

The resort is beautifully situated with stunning views of the volcano and a variety of pools offering different temperature options. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and we found the pool bar to be a fun spot for casual meals. However, the rooms are quite outdated and could use some improvement, especially regarding basic amenities like washcloths and towel supply. Overall, while the amenities and location are worth it, the value for the room quality is lacking.

My stay at the resort was truly enjoyable, featuring stunning grounds and many hot pools to relax in. The spacious room had a delightful deck where I spent plenty of time. The meals served were quite good, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. However, I faced some discomfort with the pillows being too hard for my liking, and the location being a bit far from La Fortuna meant I had to rely on taxis. Overall, it's a great spot if you don’t mind being a little out of town.
