Hotel Los Lagos Spa & Resort, La Fortuna

The resort is beautifully situated with stunning views of the volcano and a variety of pools offering different temperature options. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and we found the pool bar to be a fun spot for casual meals. However, the rooms are quite outdated and could use some improvement, especially regarding basic amenities like washcloths and towel supply. Overall, while the amenities and location are worth it, the value for the room quality is lacking.

My stay at the resort was truly enjoyable, featuring stunning grounds and many hot pools to relax in. The spacious room had a delightful deck where I spent plenty of time. The meals served were quite good, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. However, I faced some discomfort with the pillows being too hard for my liking, and the location being a bit far from La Fortuna meant I had to rely on taxis. Overall, it's a great spot if you don't mind being a little out of town.
